Dr. Birx: COVID-19 may be starting to slow down in certain states

The United States has had more than 1,000 coronavirus deaths per day for nearly a week, but at least one official said there are signs the pandemic may be slowing. At least 1,019 Americans died of COVID-19 Friday; that figure comes on top of 1,140 fatalities Thursday; 1,135 Wednesday and 1,141 Tuesday, according to reports....
