NYC to involuntarily commit more mentally unstable people after spate of subway attacks

Mayor Eric Adams dramatically expanded the Big Apple's program for involuntarily committing New Yorkers with chronic and untreated mental illness on Tuesday following a string of random subway murders horrified the city.
