NYC mom abandoned newborn son with umbilical cord still attached in trash bag outside apartment: cops

The infant was found swaddled in a blanket and stuffed into a garbage bag in front of an apartment door on East 223 Street near White Plains Road in Olinville around 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
